Order LookupBack-up Sump Pumps
Available5 products
Back-up sump pumps provide additional hours of protection against flooding when the primary pump stops operating due to mechanical failure or an electrical power outage. They automatically start when the primary pump fails and don’t require corded electrical power. Pumps are suitable for use in most sump pits.

Battery-Powered Back-up Sump Pumps
These battery-powered back-up sump pumps do not need corded electrical power to operate. They prevent flooding by starting up after the primary pump fails due to pump failure or an electrical power outage. Battery-powered back-up sump pumps can provide hours of protection after the primary pump fails and are ideal for locations where electric power is unreliable. Battery is not included.

Water-Powered Back-up Sump Pumps
These water-powered back-up sump pumps use the flow from a municipal water system to provide enough power for additional hours of flood protection in case of power loss or primary pump failure. They eliminate the need to check, maintain, and replace batteries in battery-powered back-up systems. Pumps are not for use with electric-powered water well systems since a power outage will shut down the well pump and the water flow that powers the backup pump.
