Drum pump fittings, adapters, and hardware are accessories that assist with connecting and storing drum pumps as well as sealing and emptying drums. They save time when making connections between drum pumps and containers, hold pumps and equipment in place to reduce the risk of damage, and ensure proper connections to minimize product loss or waste. They're used to improve the performance of drum pumps for fueling, fluid transferring, and fluid dispensing applications.
Bung Adapters
Bung adapters are connectors that allow drum pumps to mount securely to the opening of a container. They thread into the coarse threading typically found on container openings to provide standard threads for attaching a drum pump or drum pump tube. Also called a barrel bung adapter or drum adapter fitting, these adapters are commonly required to make a connection between a pump and a container.

Tote Couplings
Tote couplings are fittings used with drum or tote valves to provide a closed connection that seals out contaminants from fluids being pumped. They have one end for locking into a compatible valve and suction tube assembly and another end for connecting a dispensing hose. These couplings allow drum pump tubes to remain in place until the tote is empty while allowing the pump to be connected and removed as needed. They're often used on containers of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) to maintain the purity of the fluid.

Drum & Tote Valves
Drum and tote valves are fittings used with tote couplings so that suction tubes can remain attached to containers while drum pumps can be connected and removed as needed. The top of the valve threads into a container opening or bung hole adapter and the base of the valve connects to the drum pump tube. A tote coupling can then be seated on top of the valve to provide a connection point for a drum pump.

Drum Wedges
Drum wedges are accessories that hold drums at an angle to aid dispensing and minimize product waste by allowing drum pump tubes to dip into fluids near the bottom of the drum. They fit underneath a drum to tilt it and have a lip that holds the edge of the drum in place to prevent it from sliding off the wedge. They're used to help remove fluids from containers that are almost empty.

Fume Barriers
Fume barriers are fittings that seal gaps around drum pump tubes to minimize fumes and reduce the risk of vapor ignition. They thread into a drum's bung hole or bung adapter and have a smooth center hole that fits snugly against a drum pump tube to keep vapors contained in the drum. Their hex head can be gripped with a wrench for secure installation. Fume barriers are typically used on drums of flammable liquids.

Drum Pump Quick Disconnects
Drum pump quick disconnects are fittings that allow pumps to be connected to and removed from a drum opening without threading and unthreading them each time. These two-piece fittings have a threaded piece that connects to the pump outlet and a barbed piece that connects to a suction hose. The fittings are held together by a quick-release locking mechanism that allows the pieces to be disconnected and reconnected as needed. Once the fitting is installed, the pump can be removed from the drum while leaving the suction hose in place. Drum pump quick disconnects are ideal for situations where a pump needs to be used on more than one drum.
