Industrial Air-Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps
Industrial air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps use compressed air to drive the pump and move chemically compatible liquids in various industrial applications, such as general transfer or dewatering of abrasive fluids in mining operations. They do not produce a spark and can be grounded, making them suited for environments where hazardous, explosive, or easily ignitable materials are present. Double diaphragm pumps are self-priming, can run dry for long periods, are sealless, and are suited for moving viscous liquids and fluids containing suspended solids.
