Peristaltic Chemical Metering Pumps

Available1 product

Peristaltic chemical metering pumps use a series of rotating rollers to push liquids through a tube. Peristaltic pumps put minimal shear pressure on liquids and are suited for handling fluids containing trapped gasses. Additionally, they're suited to handling fluids containing fine, suspended particulates. Peristaltic pumps are self-priming and can run dry for a long period without damaging internal pump parts. These pumps do not require a check-seat valve. As a result, they are less likely to clog when transferring fluids with fine sediment, improving performance efficiency. These pumps are used in wastewater treatment applications, healthcare, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Choosing the appropriate tubing material may help reduce the risk of pump failure and can help decrease the time between maintenance and repair. Always refer to the manufacturer’s Chemical Compatibility guide for information.
