Jaw couplings connect the shaft of a motor, or moveable machine to the shaft on a stationary machine. Two jaws interlock around a jaw-coupling spider to create a complete coupling. Straight jaw couplings are suitable for most industrial applications, while curved jaw couplings are suitable where zero backlash is required, such as stepper or servo motor applications where precise motion control is needed.
General Purpose Straight Jaw Spiders
General purpose straight jaw spiders isolate and interlock the jaws between two coupling hubs using consumable economical materials which absorb shock and vibration. These spiders are interchangeable with other brands according to the coupling size identifier.

General Purpose Straight Jaw Coupling Hubs
