Acme Screws
Available19 products
Acme screws transmit linear force to acme nuts and convert rotational motion into linear motion. They feature a centralizing acme class fit and provide minimal backlash. Acme screw systems are inherently load holding, eliminating the need for a braking system. These systems provide a broader selection of leads for precise positioning, but are less efficient than ball screw systems. They are typically used on linear actuators for motions such as tilting and pivoting, lifting and lowering, rolling and sliding, or opening and closing.
Inch Acme Screws
These acme screws have standard inch threads. They are compatible with matching inch-threaded Acme nuts.
