Maintenance-free metallic and multi-layered flanged sleeve bearings increase slide performance, and minimize friction and vibration in heavy-load and high-temperature environments. Also known as composite flanged bushings, they replace conventional bearings in dry and semi-lubricated applications. They have an embedded solid lubricant that's self-applying and never requires maintenance. Their flange on one side supports axial, or thrust, loads in addition to radial loads. These bearings are useful in applications where lubricants can't be used or may deplete quickly.
