Flat Type with Ribs Packaging Industry Vacuum Pads
Flat type vacuum pads with ribs grip flat workpieces with a fixed depth or thickness such as cardboard, sheet metal, glass, and porous materials. Ribs, also called cleats, give the pads a more rigid structure, allowing them to grip workpieces that may deform like thin sheets or vinyl. Their round, flat vacuum cups have ribs that increase friction to provide a firm grip in applications where the lifting force is parallel to the item's surface.
