Air-Powered Impact Wrenches

Available3 products

Air-powered impact wrenches connect to a pressurized air supply to drive and remove fasteners in high-volume, high-torque applications, such as assembly and automotive work. Impact wrenches combine a hammer-like impact force with the rotational force of a wrench to install or remove stubborn or stuck fasteners. They have a square drive and use impact-rated sockets. Air-powered tools are lighter and have fewer moving parts than corded and cordless tools, making them a good choice for extended run times when workers handle the tools for long periods of time.

Inline Air-Powered Impact Wrenches

Inline Air-Powered Impact Wrenches

Air-powered inline impact wrenches (sometimes called butterfly wrenches) are compact tools with low torque and a smaller drive than pistol grip, D-handle, and right-angle impact wrenches, making them a good choice for use in tight or recessed spaces when high torque is not required. They are held in the palm of the hand and have a paddle switch to change drive direction without removing the tool from the fastener.

Right-Angle Air-Powered Impact Wrenches

Right-Angle Air-Powered Impact Wrenches

These right-angle air-powered impact wrenches have a chuck that is oriented 90° to the tool body. The head is similar to a ratchet head, providing a slim profile and reducing the need for extensions and swivel sockets when using the tool in tight spaces. These tools are commonly used in assembly and construction tasks. Right-angle impact wrenches produce less torque than pistol-grip and D-handle impact wrenches.
