Order LookupAir-Powered Reciprocating Saws
Available1 product
Air-powered reciprocating saws (sometimes called air saws) make straight and curved cuts in sheet metal, plastic, and other materials. They are often used for cutting sheet metal in autobody shops and metal fabrication facilities. Air-powered (pneumatic) reciprocating saws are smaller and lighter than corded or cordless saws so they can access smaller spaces and can be operated with one hand. They have fewer moving parts than battery-operated and corded tools so they run cooler and are a good choice for applications that require extended run times. Air-powered tools require an air compressor or access to a pressurized air supply to operate. These tools are not compatible with universal-shank blades used for electric reciprocating saws.
