Air-Powered Routers

Air-powered routers spin cutting bits that remove material from wood workpieces to profile edges, create grooves and slots, cut joints, and trace shapes. Typical applications include forming decorative edges, mortising hinges and locksets, trimming laminate, and cutting openings for windows and doors. These pneumatic routers operate on compressed air and contain few moving parts, so they are lightweight to ease handling, run cool for a long lifespan, and require minimal maintenance.
Air-Powered Routers
These light, compact air routers are easier to maneuver for smaller jobs and more detailed work than large corded routers. Their collet holds bits with a shank diameter that matches the collet size, and their depth adjustment controls how far the bits cut into material. They accept a range of bit styles to make different cuts, such as chamfers, dadoes, rabbets, and mortises.
