Air-Powered Nail Guns

Available5 products
Air-powered nail guns (sometimes called nailers) connect to a pressurized air supply to drive nails and pins quickly, accurately, and with less effort than manual hammers and staplers. They hold nail strips or coils that feed nails one after the other to speed installation in framing, roofing, cabinetry, and flooring tasks. A safety mechanism requires the tip of the tool to be compressed before the nail is fired. These guns accept nails with a compatible collation angle, collation type (e.g., glue, paper), head shape, gauge or diameter, length, and style (e.g., finishing, brad). Nailers using straight-collation nails drive nails square while nailers using angled-collation nails drive nails at angles and in corners. Air-powered nailers are typically lighter than cordless tools to help reduce operator fatigue during extended use. They also have fewer moving parts, so they tend to run cooler and have a longer lifespan.

Air-Powered Brad Nailers

Air-Powered Brad Nailers
Air-powered brad nailers drive 18 ga. brads in lightweight finishing applications in cabinetry, construction, and woodworking where the appearance of nail heads should be minimized. Brad nailers drive smaller nails than finish nailers and larger nails than pin nailers.

Air-Powered Palm Nailers

Air-Powered Palm Nailers
Air-powered palm nailers (sometimes called impact nailers) are small tools that can be held in the palm of the hand to fit into tight places where a hammer is awkward or won't fit. The operator manually places the nail head into the tool and presses the nail to the surface. The nailer then uses an impact mechanism to tap the nail into the wood.
