Breather vents, mufflers, and silencers thread into the vent and exhaust ports of pneumatic equipment such as air compressors and air tools. Breather vents prevent unexpected pressure or vacuum changes in closed component chambers by allowing the exchange of air inside the chamber with the atmosphere.
