Compressed air line lockout valves allow operators to turn off air pressure to branch lines that are not being used or that are undergoing maintenance. Lockout valves for tube fittings mount to air cylinders and stop air flow when there's a loss of pressure.

These compressed air lockout valves thread directly into the air supply line and are intended to fit within the modular arrangement of Numatics filter, regulator, and lubricator modules (FRLs). When the valve is turned off at the inlet, the downstream air pressure vents through the exhaust port. They are manually operated and can be padlocked in the closed (vented) position. These lockout valves help facilities comply with OSHA regulations for lockout/tagout procedures.
