Rotary vane vacuum pumps create a continuous vacuum that is higher in strength and air volume than diaphragm or liquid ring vacuum pumps. They continuously draw air into the pump chamber where rotating vanes reduce the pressure to create suction. These pumps are used in continuous-duty vacuum applications.
