Ultraviolet Water Disinfecting Systems
Disinfecting water with ultraviolet, or UV, light is a simple, effective, and environmentally safe method for treating water without chemicals. UV light destroys harmful bacteria and viruses by attacking their genetic core, eliminating their ability to reproduce. Ultraviolet disinfecting requires reverse osmosis or other filtration systems to remove contaminants for drinking water purposes. These energy-efficient systems are installed at points of entry.
