These large, pleated surface areas are typically used until the outer surface is completely covered with particles and then discarded. Pleated filter cartridges are available in a range of sizes and micron (µ) ratings and fit compatible filter housings. They filter liquids for chemical handling, recirculation, and general water filtration.
