Order LookupBall Valves
Ball valves control the flow of chemically compatible media within a system. The ball within the valve body turns to an open and closed position by manual, electric, or pneumatic actuation. Manually-operated ball valves, also known as quarter-turn valves, open and close with a handle to control media flow. The handle visually indicates whether the valve is open or closed, depending on its position relative to the valve body. Electric-actuated ball valves open and close with an electric motor and close faster than pneumatic-actuated valves. Pneumatically-actuated ball valves open and close with compressed air, and they have a higher closing force than electric-operated valves for use in systems moving viscous liquids. Parts and accessories for ball valves replace worn components to ensure valves are in good working order.
