Steam and hot water solenoid valves have durable parts and components that withstand extreme hot water and steam in harsh environments and control media flow and temperature. These electromagnetic devices use an inductive wire coil to actuate a metallic plunger. When energized, a magnetic field is generated and moves the plunger up and down automatically to open or close the valve, which starts or stops the flow of hot water or steam. These valves are often used in commercial heating systems and kitchens, laundries, sterilizers, and benchtop autoclaves.
