Fuel gas and oil solenoid valves have durable parts and seals to withstand and control flammable liquids and gases. These electromagnetic devices use an inductive wire coil to actuate a metallic plunger. When energized, a magnetic field is generated and moves the plunger up and down automatically to open or close the valve, which starts or stops the flow of fuels, oils, and gases. These valves are often used to control industrial gas burners.
