Three-way PVC (polyvinyl chloride) manual ball valves for food and beverage meet applicable requirements for handling or coming into contact with food, personal care, or dairy products. These valves are made of rigid and corrosion-resistant plastic and have multiple inlet and outlet ports for mixing, splitting, or directing the flow of compatible media, depending on the valve shape (e.g., Y, T, or L). Manual-operated valves open and close with a handle and, depending on the handle's position, visually indicate whether the valve is open or closed. NSF 51 Compliant L-Port PVC Ball Valves
NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) 51 L-port PVC (polyvinyl chloride) ball valves meet requirements for handling food and personal care products. L-port valves have three ports that act as inlets or outlets, and they're used in diverter and selector applications. Diverter applications have media flowing through one inlet and flowing out through either one of the remaining outlets. Selector applications have media flowing from one of two inlet ports (from two different sources) with the remaining port acting as an outlet. PVC is a rigid and corrosion-resistant plastic resin.
