Three-way bronze general purpose manual ball valves are made from a corrosion-resistant copper and tin alloy. These valves have multiple inlet and outlet ports for mixing, splitting, and controlling the flow of compatible media such as water, steam, oil, air, and inert gas in various industrial and commercial applications. Manual-operated valves open and close with a handle and, depending on the handle's position, visually indicate whether the valve is open or closed.

L-port bronze ball valves have three ports that act as inlets or outlets, and they're used in diverter and selector applications. Diverter applications have media flowing through one inlet and flowing out through either one of the remaining outlets. Selector applications have media flowing from one of two inlet ports (from two different sources) with the remaining port acting as an outlet.
