Dielectric nipples create a link between two pipes made of dissimilar metals. These nipples, with threads on both ends, prevent accelerated corrosion and deterioration in pipe systems due to galvanic and stray current. Dielectric nipples are used with water, steam, and gas systems. Dielectric nipples are available in lengths 12" and shorter.
