Bulk Material-Handling Hoses

Bulk material handling hoses are used to create custom hoses for moving dry, abrasive materials such as cement, fertilizers, fly ash, glass, gravel, and rock salt. These hoses can be cut to a desired length, and compatible hose fittings can be added on the ends of the hoses to connect them to equipment. Bulk material handling hoses attach to a suction-, pneumatic-, or gravity-powered material handling system.

These bulk material-handling hoses have a polyurethane tube and a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) cover. They are ideal for transferring bulk dry and abrasive materials such as powders, plastic pellets, and granular materials. The hoses' tube is made from polyurethane that conforms to FDA standards for use with food products, and their cover is corrugated for maximum flexibility. There is a static-discharge wire between the hose and the cover that dissipates static charge on the hose to help prevent sparks that can ignite dry materials inside the hose.
