Bulk hydraulic hoses can be cut to a desired length, and compatible hose fittings can be attached to the ends of the hoses to create custom hydraulic hose assemblies that can be connected to equipment. Hydraulic hoses are used for transferring fluids in high-pressure petroleum- and water-based hydraulic systems commonly found on industrial, mining, and manufacturing equipment. These hoses are reinforced to maximize their strength.

Weatherhead H145R RhinoHide II Abrasion-Resistant Constant-Pressure Bulk Hydraulic Hoses with Steel-Braid Reinforcement

Weatherhead RhinoHide II bulk hydraulic hoses are suitable for abrasive hydraulic applications with a constant working pressure. They are used for transferring hydraulic and water-based fluids in logging, construction, mining, and off-highway applications. The hoses have a nitrile tube, and they have a UHMW-PE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) cover that provides excellent abrasion resistance. Hoses with an ID of 1/2" or less are reinforced with one steel braid. Hoses with an ID of 5/8" or greater are reinforced with two steel braids. They are stronger and can withstand more pressure than hoses that are reinforced with one steel braid. Weatherhead RhinoHide II hydraulic hoses are compatible with Weatherhead Z series crimpable fittings.
