Bulk hydraulic hoses can be cut to a desired length, and compatible hose fittings can be attached to the ends of the hoses to create custom hydraulic hose assemblies that can be connected to equipment. Hydraulic hoses are used for transferring fluids in high-pressure petroleum- and water-based hydraulic systems commonly found on industrial, mining, and manufacturing equipment. These hoses are reinforced to maximize their strength.

Aeroquip EC600 X-Flex bulk hydraulic hoses are used in high pressure hydraulic applications with petroleum- and water-based fluids. These hoses have a synthetic rubber tube and abrasion-resistant cover, and are reinforced with either four heavy spiral wires (for hoses with an ID of 0.75" or 1.00") or six heavy spiral wires (for hoses with an ID from 1.25" to 2.00"). EC600 X-Flex hose is more flexible than FC500 X-Flex hose for demanding high impulse applications. Aeroquip EC600 hydraulic hoses are compatible with Aeroquip 4S, 6S, and 1W series fittings.
