Bulk food and beverage hoses are used to create custom hose assemblies for moving edible dry food and drinkable (potable) liquids. They are primarily used in industrial food- and beverage-processing applications. Bulk food hoses and bulk beverage hoses are made from materials that meet or exceed FDA and USDA sanitary standards for food contact. They can be cut to the desired length and compatible hose fittings can be added to the ends of the hoses for connecting them to equipment.

Velocity polyvinyl chloride (PVC) bulk beverage hoses with PVC covers are used for transferring edible liquids in settings such as wineries and microbreweries. These lightweight, flexible hoses are reinforced with polyester synthetic yarn and have a rigid PVC helix for strength. The hoses' tube and cover are made from clear PVC, which allows users to see materials flowing through the hoses.
