Neoprene-coated fiberglass duct hoses are used to blow or exhaust hot air for pellet drying applications in the plastics-processing industry. These lightweight, flexible hoses are flame-retardant and self-extinguishing. They can handle fumes at low pressures and moderately high temperatures, but they are not recommended for applications with continuous flexing, liquids, or abrasives.
