These PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) chemical hose assemblies are used in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries. They comply with FDA requirements for use with food products. The hoses have cam-lock type C and E fittings on their ends. Also known as cam-and-groove fittings, cam-lock fittings have a side lever that can be engaged to quickly connect or remove hoses from industrial containers in applications where hoses will be changed frequently. The hoses' PTFE tube provides excellent temperature and chemical resistance and maintains its integrity after exposure to thermocycling processes. The PTFE tube also has a low coefficient of friction to maintain high flow rates and provide easy cleaning. The hoses' EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) cover provides excellent resistance to ozone and abrasion and offers good resistance to heat and chemicals.

These polyvinyl chloride (PVC) chemical hose assemblies are used for spraying chemicals in agricultural applications and commercial weed-control and pest-control applications. These hoses have male NPT (National Pipe Taper) fittings on their ends. The fittings have tapered threads that create a tight seal when connected to compatible equipment. The hoses' tube is made from a blend of PVC and polyurethane, which provides excellent resistance to hydrocarbon-based lawn-care and pest-control chemicals. The hoses' ribbed PVC cover offers high abrasion resistance, and it is pinpricked to allow gases or vapors trapped in the hose carcass to escape so they don't create a blister in the cover of the hose.
