Single-line abrasive blasting hose assemblies have a static dissipating tube that helps prevent sparks that can ignite dry materials inside the hose. Also called sandblast hoses, they convey coal slag, grit, or aluminum oxide in abrasive blasting applications for construction sites, mining operations, shipyards, and steel mills.

Dual-line hose assemblies are used in abrasive blasting systems. Also known as deadman hose, this hose has two lines with fittings on both ends that connect to air-actuated shut-off valves on abrasive blasting equipment. These valves are controlled by the operator using a deadman switch that automatically shuts off the system if the operator stops pressing the switch.
