Grease spring-return hose reels hold various lengths and diameters of grease hose for grease or hydraulic operations. The spring-return, also called self-retracting, spring-driven, or spring rewind, allows users to manually rewind hose onto the grease hose reel without an external power source. The spring-return has a locking ratchet and pawl that locks into place once users have pulled the hose to the desired length. The ratchet is released by pulling the hose out, and then hose can be rewound onto the reel. Grease hose reels provide a safe, reliable dispensing system for grease.

Standard grease spring-return hose reels are formed from high-grade steel with structural forms and gussets for added strength in demanding applications. These high-pressure (over 3000 psi) reels mount to the floor, wall, ceiling, or a bench, and include a guide arm that adjusts to seven positions and standard high-pressure SAE 100 R2T two-wire braid hose. These standard grease hose reels and grease hoses are used in aircraft maintenance, automotive service centers, and transmission shops.
