Multipurpose hand-crank hose reels are manually-operated using a crank handle that is attached to the barrel of the reel. Also known as manual rewind reels, turning the handle causes the barrel to simultaneously turn retracting hose. Hand-crank hose reels are available for a variety of hose lengths. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel hand-crank hose reels are made from stainless steel, with or without an electropolish finish, for noncorrosive performance in harsh environments. Stainless steel swivels and fluid paths prevent rust and corrosion in food and chemical processing, washdowns, or chemical transfer. The open drum slot allows smooth, crimp-free hose wrapping. A drag brake or tension brake prevent freewheeling or de-spooling during operation, transport, or storage. These reels mount on the floor, wall, bench, or on trucks.
