Welding hose reels handle varying lengths of oxygen and acetylene welding hose. Choose from a variety of retraction methods, such as spring driven, controlled-retraction, or hand crank. Spring-return hose reels are also called self-retracting, spring-driven, or spring-rewind because they help rewind hose onto the reel. These reels have a locking ratchet that locks hose in place when desired hose length is reached. To retract the hose, just pull the hose to release the ratchet and rewind hose. Hand-crank reels are manually-operated using a crank handle that is attached to the barrel of the reel. Also known as manual rewind reels, turning the handle causes the barrel to simultaneously turn retracting hose.
Controlled-Retraction Welding Spring-Return Hose Reels
Controlled-retraction welding spring-return hose reels reduce retraction speed to a safe, steady pace to prevent injuries and hose whipping. The integral clutch provides a consistent retraction speed regardless of fluid or temperature. The independent dual-swivel design allows a positive separation of gases with double-sealed O-rings to prevent leaks. The dual-swivels are made from aluminum that's hard-coated for wear resistance, and the swivel body and inlet are permanently identified with machined grooves on the gas side to assure proper installation. Reinforced steel construction includes powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance. These low-pressure (up to 500 psi) reels mount on the floor, wall, ceiling, bench, or on trucks and have a 7-position adjustable guide arm. Reels use Grade R (oxygen and acetylene gas) or Grade T (oxygen and fuels) hoses. Welding hand-crank hose reels are designed for manual winding of welding hoses. Reinforced steel construction includes powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance. These low-pressure (up to 500 psi) reels mount on the floor, wall, bench, or on trucks. These reels use Grade R (oxygen and acetylene gas) or Grade T (oxygen and fuels) hoses.
