Air or water spring-return hose reels hold hoses that supply air or water for pneumatic tools, sprayers, and other air or water pressure systems. These air/water hose reels are spring-return reels also called self-retracting, spring-driven, or spring-rewind hose reels because they help retract hose onto the reel without an external power source. The spring-return has a locking ratchet and pawl that locks into place once users have pulled the hose to the desired length. The ratchet is released by pulling the hose out, and then hose can be rewound onto the reel.

The spool is made from engineered plastic for long service life. These reels mount on a floor, wall, or ceiling, and include a guide arm that adjusts to seven positions. These lightweight air or water hose reels with air or water hoses are commonly used with pneumatic tools, in lubrication, and with general industrial air/water services.
