Order LookupMultipurpose Rigid Barbed Hose Fittings & Menders
Available1 product
Multipurpose rigid barbed hose fittings and menders connect hoses to pipe in multipurpose hose assemblies. They are also used to repair damaged hoses to help extend their life. These fittings have raised ridges (or barbs) that grip the insides of hoses to hold them in place and are secured with a clamp or crimped ferrule to form a tight seal. They are commonly used for low-pressure applications in the food and beverage, marine, and chemical processing industries to convey air, fluids, and chemicals through a pipe system.
Max. Working Pressure @ 70 F
Low-Lead Brass Multipurpose (Air, Water, Chemical) Rigid Barbed Hose Menders
Low-lead brass multipurpose rigid barbed hose menders are used to repair and connect damaged hoses. They are certified for use with potable water, making them a good choice for hose assemblies in plumbing systems that transport drinking water. They are also resistant to corrosion from water, saltwater, heat, minerals, and acids. These fittings have raised ridges (or barbs) on both ends of the fitting. The spliced ends of hoses are pushed onto the mender to create a leak-resistant seal.
