Multipurpose Barbed Hose Fittings

Multipurpose barbed hose fittings connect multipurpose hoses together in a pipe system. They have raised ridges (or barbs) on one or both ends of the fitting that create a leak-resistant seal. These fittings are used in a wide variety of applications, including agriculture, construction, power generation, oil and gas, waste services, and mining. Multipurpose beaded barbed hose fittings are commonly used to convey air and fluids in low-pressure automotive and hydraulic applications. Multipurpose rigid barbed hose fittings are typically used in hose assemblies for fluid-handling applications, such as herbicides, liquid waste, and saltwater. Multipurpose push-on barbed hose fittings are often used on the jobsite to connect multipurpose hoses as they don't need tools, clamps, or ferrules.
