Plastic cam and groove fittings, also known as camlock couplings, are a form of hose coupling used to connect or disconnect pipe, tubing, or hose without tools. Cam and groove fittings are a two-part system with a nipple (adapter) and coupler. These fittings are available in a variety of lightweight plastics including polypropylene (PP), which is chemical resistant, and nylon, which resists chemicals and abrasions. Plastic camlock couplings are commonly used with water, chemicals, and solvents.
