Stainless steel cam and groove fittings consist of a grooved male nipple (adapter) and a female cam (coupler or camlock) that tighten together to form a seal. Stainless steel withstands pressure and high temperatures and resists corrosion when handling caustic chemicals, and other potentially corrosive fluids, oils, and gases.

Type A Stainless Steel Cam & Groove Fittings
Type A stainless steel cam and groove fittings include a male nipple (adapter) x female NPT connection. Type A camlock fittings are most often used with Type D adapters of the same size, and can also be used with Type B, C, and D adapters, and Type D dust caps. Type A stainless steel camlock couplings are used in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and fuel delivery applications.
