Forged Brass Cam & Groove Fittings

Forged brass cam and groove fittings consist of a grooved male nipple (adapter) and a female cam (coupler or camlock) that tighten together to form a seal. Forged brass is strong, highly conductive, and resists corrosion. Nonsparking brass is compatible with copper or zinc piping and maintains its durability at high temperatures. Forged brass camlock fittings are commonly used with water, coolants, gasolines, hydraulic oils, and petroleum products.

Type C Forged Brass Cam & Groove Fittings
Type C forged brass cam and groove fittings include a female cam x hose shank (hose barb) connection. Type C camlock fittings are most often matched with Type E adapters of the same size, and can also be used Type, A, E, and F adapters, and Type DP dust plugs. Type C forged brass camlock couplings are used with suction and discharge hoses in agricultural or industrial applications.

Type E forged brass cam and groove fittings include a male nipple (adapter) x hose shank (hose barb) connection. Type E camlock fittings are most often used with Type C adapters of the same size, and can also be used with Type B, C, and D adapters, and Type DC dust caps. Type E forged brass fittings are used with water, coolants, and in marine fueling applications.
