High-reflective coatings (HR), sometimes called mirror coatings, increase surface reflectance and can create mirrors that reflect virtually all light of a given wavelength range that falls on them. These coatings are applied to exterior surfaces not otherwise protected from sunlight or UV damage.
Interior Reflective Coatings
Interior highly reflective coatings are semitransparent aerosols that reflect light for nighttime visibility and safety. These coatings prevent rust and provide a gloss or flat finish to mailboxes, gates, walking ramps, bridges, and stairs. These coatings also act as a thermal mirror, reflecting the light away from interior surfaces to lower energy costs.
