Electrical Generators & Power Stations
Electrical generators and power stations supply backup or primary power when electricity from the power grid is offline, inadequate, or unavailable. Portable generators are sized for transport and burn fuel to provide power at outdoor jobsites and remote locations. Portable power stations convert DC power to AC power for running corded power tools, appliances, and other electrical-powered devices. They allow indoor use since they produce no gas emissions. Standby generators install outside of a building and burn fuel to provide power through an indoor electrical panel to keep equipment running with minimal disruption. Generator light towers emit high-output illumination at outdoor locations for construction and roadwork, nighttime events, search-and-rescue operations, and more. Generator transfer switches shift the source of electrical power from the grid to a generator.
