Fence Stretching Tools

Fence stretching tools pull fencing wire taut so it can be fastened between posts. Also known as wire fence stretchers, they remove slack and add tension to keep fencing from sagging. They are used when installing new fencing or replacing snapped fence wires.
Dual-Purpose Stretchers for Barbed & Smooth Wire
Dual-purpose fence stretchers grip and pull barbed wire and smooth wire fencing. Their ratcheting head moves along a notched bar to increase wire tension with each pump of the stretcher handle.

Chain Link Fence Stretching Clamps
Fence stretching clamps temporarily hold sections of chain link fencing onto posts until the fencing is permanently fastened, allowing one person to perform the installation. Also known as fence tensioning claws, they are used in pairs for a secure grip. They also serve as handles for toting coils of fencing to and from jobsites.
