Clamping, Workholding & Positioning
Clamping, workholding, and positioning products hold workpieces in place and adjust components in machining operations. Manual toggle and hold-down clamps apply mechanical force to hold workpieces. Pneumatic swing and toggle clamps use compressed air to apply clamping pressure. Fixturing clamps press their low-profile clamp block onto workpiece ends to secure them to worktables. Indexing and positioning equipment sets up workpieces for layout, inspection, and machining. Lathe centers position workpieces between a lathe's headstock and tailstock. Lathe chucks and jaws hold workpieces onto lathes. Machine handles mount to machine tools to allow manual adjustments of position, clamping force, and other settings. Machine vises have wide jaws with a large surface area to position and secure work. Milling machine T-slot nuts and bolts fasten workpieces to T-slot grooves in milling machines and positioning tables.
