Order LookupRadius Gauges & Angle Gauges
Available1 product
Radius gauges, also known as fillet gauges, measure the concave and convex radius or fillet of metal objects. These tools are commonly used by inspectors, toolmakers, and die-sinkers for checking angles. They are also used for carpentry when checking the radius on a workpiece on a lathe.
Range
Variable-Arc Radius Gauges
Variable-arc radius gauges measure large inside and/or outside arcs or curves using a flexible three-point contact style gauge that bends to fit the arc being measured. When all three contact points make contact with the curve, a lock nut is activated to fix the measurement in place. Measurements are taken with the standard and/or metric graduations on the body of the gauge. When locked into place, these gauges also mark or apply the curve dimensions to another piece making them effective transfer tools. They are commonly used for industrial fabrication, jobsite measurement and inspection, and in construction.
