Threaded Pipe Ring Gauges

Threaded pipe ring gauges are used to check and inspect external straight and tapered pipe threads. Straight pipe threaded ring gauges take the form of Go/No-Go gauges. Go/No-Go gauges perform pass/fail tolerance tests: Go gauges test the lower tolerance while No-Go gauges test the upper. Tapered threaded ring gauges come in internally threaded L-1, L-2 rings and smooth, nonthreaded 6-Step forms. All gauges are marked with nominal size and gauge type, and are right-handed unless stated otherwise.
Tapered Pipe Threaded Ring Gauges
These tapered pipe rings are L-1, L-2, and 6-step. L-1 ring gauges test if the threads are at the high or low limit and establish reference when hand-tightened. L-2 inspection is performed by wrench-tightening based on L-1 inspection. 6-step rings are used for a thread crest inspection. They are available individually or as sets.

Straight Pipe Threaded Ring Gauges
These straight pipe threaded ring gauges are used to perform checks on external fastener threads in metric or Unified (inch) thread standards. Go/No-Go gauges perform pass/fail tolerance tests: Go gauges test the lower tolerance while No-Go gauges test the upper. Available as individual ring gauge or as a Go/No-Go pair.
