Plug & Pin Gauges
Pin gauges, also known as plug gauges, are round, unthreaded solid rods of tool steel used to perform Go-No-Go (Plus/Minus) tolerance tests on bores or holes. Class ZZ are general purpose pin gauges that are available unfinished or with a black oxide coating that offers some corrosion resistance and wear recognition. Class X pin gauges are used when greater precision and accuracy are needed.
