Order LookupDigital Outside Micrometers
Available1 product
Digital outside micrometers, also known as electronic micrometers, have a C-shaped jaw with flat measuring faces on the anvil and spindle. These micrometers have a linear encoder and LCD display to measure and display the reading. Digital micrometers have a higher resolution than mechanical tools, and typically perform both inch and metric measurements without requiring operators to do any math. They also typically have graduated markings on the main body to measure in either inch or metric units. They are commonly used to measure the outside dimensions of raw materials, whole workpieces, and features in production, QA, and inspection environments in both metalworking and other industrial applications where traceability and recording measurements is required.
Range
Digital Outside Micrometers with SPC Output
These digital outside micrometers with SPC output transmit data to a receiver connected to a computer. This eliminates human error in reading, recording, and transferring data. They are used to measure the outside dimensions of raw materials, whole workpieces, and features in production, QA, and inspection environments in both metalworking and other industrial applications.
