Bench centers are mounted on a table and support a workpiece between two tailstocks. These bench centers are used in many toolroom, production inspection, and lathe applications such as center drilling, reaming, and countersinking for many industrial projects. They allow operators to place a part between centers using only one hand. Concentricity gauges measure radial runout and end-face runout concurrently.
