Indicator stands with cast-iron bases, also known as dial gauge stands, have a stable base paired with a rigid vertical post with rectangular or round flat or serrated steel anvils where an indicator is mounted and can be adjusted. They have rectangular or round flat or serrated steel anvils. They are used to make height measurement comparisons between parts or for setting the reference height with gauge blocks and then comparing the parts with the reference.

Surface Gauges
