Order LookupSpecialty Digital Calipers
Available1 product
Specialty digital calipers resemble standard calipers, but the jaw blade and/or contact point, shape, and orientation is different for specialty applications. The jaws on calipers use two sliding scales to measure between two opposite sides of a tool or part. These digital calipers have an LCD that shows measurements without requiring interpretation. They can be set to zero at any point and include an on/off button that allows users to toggle between inch and mm units. These specialty calipers are commonly used for specific applications like measuring the diameter of narrow, hard-to-reach grooves. They’re also used for center-to-edge or hole-to-hole center measurements and automotive applications like disk or drum brake measurements.
Range
Digital Calipers for Centerline & Hole-to-Hole Measurement
Digital calipers for centerline and hole-to-hole measurements have a standard beam and digital display, but in place of standard jaws, they have solid or adjustable jaws that consist of a rod with a conical point. The conical points will self-center into holes or bores, so the operator can accurately measure the centerline distance. Each jaw on a centerline caliper adjusts independently so operators can measure the centerline distance even on holes that are not located on the same plane.
